My Designer Bag Collection

My Designer Bag Collection

I regularly receive comments on how lovely my bags are and how I have such a nice collection. So I thought I would do a little blog post on my little loves. I take a huge pride in my bags as I really put a lot of thought into each one of them before I purchase. I try to make sure that the bag in question will never become dated and if there is a small chance I could fall out of love with the bag I would never buy it.

I would like to first write a disclaimer: I am completely aware that I am a very very lucky person to be able to have even one designer bag and not everyone will be as lucky as I am. I am not posting this to offend anyone that may believe I am being ungrateful by 'flaunting' my belongings. I do run a fashion blog and I will have to post about things that I love and this is one of them. I am choosing not to mention the price of these bags, however, if you are very interested in knowing please direct message me on a social media platform.

Louis Vuitton - Neverfull MM Monogram Canvas

I will start with my second ever designer bag (Unfortunately my first designer bag was a Mulberry that was such bad quality I didn't want to mention it).

Size:
The size is perfect as it fits my whole entire life into it and will still fit over my shoulder. I used this bag for university and could fit my Mac Air with charger, books, pencil case, phone, and lunch into it. It is a life saver.

Design:
The monogram canvas pretty much goes with any outfit and that is probably the reason I have used it nearly everyday since getting it for my 18th birthday present.

Quality:
The quality is amazing, the leather will brown over time which is expected, but the bag is in perfect condition. Considering I have taken it everywhere with me, filled it to the brim, and not exactly cared for it as much as I could... The bag is pretty much indestructible.

Fondness:
My love for this bag will probably never die!

Chanel - Boy in Black Patent Leather with Gold Hardware

This has to be my pride and joy, I was extremely lucky to be given this for my 21st birthday. I am trying to make myself bring it out of the house more but it really is my most prized possession. I wrote about it >here<.

Size:
I got the medium Chanel Boy and it fits my purse, phone and a lipstick inside. It isn't huge on space but because it will never be a day-to-day bag it doesn't matter. It is perfect size for evening and a day out.

Design:
The design is just beautiful, when choosing the bag I was faced with the decision of a Chanel Boy or the Classic double flap bag. But because I am more of a modern dresser I knew the Chanel Boy would be a staple piece to me forever.

Quality:
Its a Chanel bag, I don't need to even comment on quality!

Fondness:
Once again, I don't feel I need to comment. But I love this bag more than I probably should love an object.

Gucci - Dionysus Blooms Print

I have written a lengthy post about this previously, so I won't natter on too much, but head over to the post >here< for more info. This bag was something I physically couldn't stop myself thinking about and it is such a "me" bag that I knew I had to have it.

Size:
I chose the large Dionysus because the price between the Medium and Large was minimal considering the Medium was so much smaller. It is a great size, it can fit a lot of things in but it will become very heavy. The metal detailing on the bag causes it to be heavier than most bags when filled up.

Design:
Surprisingly it doesnt clash with a lot of things, but it definitely can make an outfit too. The design is the reason I fell so hard for this bag. The suede detailing, the flap, the chain handle and the inside are all perfect.

Quality:
The quality is exceptional, I really do feel Gucci do not get enough credit for their products. Next to my Chanel Boy it could have been made by the same people. But the price is hugely different to that of Chanel.

Fondness:
This will have to be my second favourite bag after Chanel.

Louis Vuitton - Felicie Chain Wallet

This bag was the best deal ever, because you receive two wallets inside the bag. To have a full view of how amazing this bag is >click here< for my previous review.

Size:
It can only fit my phone, lipstick and the two wallets provided inside. But the use of this bag would be evening wear or popping out of the house.

Design:
I went for the Monogram print because I often slip this wallet into my Neverfull as a purse. I like the fact they match and I have never had issues with the Monogram print before. The inside is a beautiful pink and the wallet inserts are monogram with the same pink lining.

Quality:
Really beautiful quality, the canvas is impossible to scratch or mark so it never ages. The chain is also very delicate and never loses shine, the inside seems indestructible also.

Fondness:
The fact I can grab this bag and go makes me really adore it.

Givenchy - Antigona Mini

The Givenchy Antigona was a bag I had dreamed of for quite a while. When I had the chance to buy the Antigona Mini I thought I'd end up wanting the larger one, however, my review of this bag >here< made me happy I didnt!

Size:
Amazingly the "mini" is quite big inside. It can fit a lot and still remains small enough to take out for the day.

Design:
The colour of this bag is beautiful, I really love it. I like the large zipper and the Givenchy logo too. But the zip can be very uncomfortable when you go to get something out of the bag, the shoulder strap can also come loose too.

Quality:
To be honest it is really hard to judge. The bag marks very easily which I would put down to bad quality, but I don't feel the bag would fall apart because it is made well. The long strap is something I feel could be worked as it unclips a lot.

Fondness:
I will never regret this purchase as I really like this bag but I do feel it will never be a favourite of mine.

Michael Kors - Rhea Mini Leather Backpack

The photo doesnt show the size of this adorable thing, but it really is the size of a box of tissues. I don't think I could've lived with myself if I had let this thing go and not taken it home with me.

Size:
Very tiny but still fits my purse, keys, lipstick and phone. It's a great run around bag.

Design:
I love the design more than anything, firstly its pink so whats not to love! Secondly it can be worn as a backpack or a cross body. This really sold it to me as when it comes to my day-to-day bags I do like to be able to change it up and wear it different ways.

Quality:
Michael Kors is always great quality, the leather is softly grained so it could be easily scratched but it never transfers colour which is a great.

Fondness:
A mini pink backpack... I won't ever not love it. Plus part of me is secretly hoping I have a daughter one day who can rock up to Pre-School with it.

Michael Kors - Hamilton Satchel
I think this bag must be the most random thing I have ever chosen, but I won't regret it. I was 19 when I got this bag and was super proud I had the purse to match too...

Size:
Its very big inside, has a dividing pocket down the middle, pockets either side, very deep. It would become very heavy quite quickly because of the bag being very structured.

Design:
At the time I loved this design, I am not 100% now. Maybe I would love it more in black. I think the problem is also the fact its very structured and the shoulder strap is pointless as the bag doesnt hang well by your side. It is fine as a bag to hold or have over your arm.

Quality:
The saffiano leather is very hard to scratch or damage and is used for Prada bags... So that says it all. The quality of the bag is great, but Michael Kors always has amazing quality bags.

Fondness:
I wouldn't wear this bag as much as I did before, it has become a bag that sits and stares at me from the corner of the room making me feel guilty. But I still appreciate it.

So that was my beautiful bag collection (minus my awful Mulberry one), I will happily answer any questions if you have them! Whats your favourite bag right now?
