Gucci Dionysus bag

Gucci Dionysus bag in Bloom print
"Named after the Greek god Dionysus, who in myth is said to have crossed the river Tigris on a tiger sent to him by Zeus."

So after much 'umm'ing and 'ahh'ing (not much at all actually, I am lying..) I decided to take the plunge and buy myself another designer handbag. It wasn't completely out of the blue, I would love to have that money laying around! But, I wanted to treat myself because I have finally reached my goal. I have secured myself a full time job in which I know I will be very very happy. So what better way to say well done me?!

She is so pretty.
The Gucci bloom print caught my eye when I was looking to buy a new purse in Paris. I just loved the girly-ness of it and how striking it was. After buying the purse, I set my sights on the tote bag to match. However, I never thought I'd be lucky enough to own a Gucci Dionysus at this point in time so when the opportunity arose I grabbed it.

I bought it from Selfridges, not my first choice, but the Bond Street - Gucci was closed (my luck). Fortunately, they were lovely and I left a very happy customer. The bag is the perfect everyday bag for my lifestyle as it is big enough to fit my necessities (a new "whats in my bag" post is following soon) but also small enough to not get in the way of day-to-day life. The bag comes with a secret front pocket, the inside is suede also, and a zip up middle is provided. The clasp is based around Lion heads, from the greek mythology of Dionysus riding a tiger over a river. It has two options for handles, a long look using one chain or a shorter look using both.

If you love watching the unboxing of my bag, because I personally do, then take a look over at my instagram: Naomi_Wise

Hope you enjoyed this post, please comment any bags you are loving right now.
