BooTea - Week 1

BooTea available from Holland & Barrett or online

Week One - BooTea 14 Day Teatox

I haven't found BooTea particularly successful if I am giving you an honest opinion. When starting BooTea I was told by a couple of people to watch out because it is extremely "detoxing" (if you know what I mean...) But after a weeks worth of the stuff I really do not know what anyone meant.

The morning teas have 2 purposes: To fasten metabolism and stop cravings. However, after following a strict schedule of tea at 9am on the dot I am still starving at 11am and wanting snacks by 12pm. I have been eating healthy alongside BooTea, so it isn't a poor diet that is stopping results. Although I am not following their food diary I have stuck to salads, fresh fruit and little to no snacking.

The night time tea serves one purpose: A laxative effect. This is what a few people warned me about, not to gross my readers out, but they couldn't handle the laxative and were running to the loo several times a day. Now I understand THAT would cause weight loss because you aren't keeping anything in. But this has had no effect on me whatsoever. Which is so disappointing.

The teatox can we purchased as 14 days or 28 days. Although I have 28 days I am sharing with my mum so we do 14 days each. I am so happy we didn't buy 28 days individually because I cannot see this benefiting me or being something I would want to do again.

Its halfway through and my verdict is: Poor.

I hope next week when I end my detox I will be thrilled and seeing great results in health and weight, however, I am not satisfied by this product so far.
